Poetry Analysis Bilingual Sestina by Julia Alvarez Julia Alvarez was born in evidence 27th 1950 in New York City. When she was only 3 months out of date her family decided to return to their positionland in friar preacher Republic. This poem is about the feelings and emotions a person has with both different languages and how hard sometimes is to adapt.
